Making a difference in the Central Hawkes Bay
Volunteer with usWe are excited to offer SPCA services in Central Hawke's Bay in conjunction with Veterinary Services Hawke's Bay.
SPCA’s full range of services is available to animals in Central Hawke's Bay through a partnership with Vet Services Waipukurau, which started in mid-2022.
Animals will be transported to the nearby SPCA Hastings Centre when required, and there is a full-time Field Officer dedicated to helping within this community. This Field Officer enhances SPCA’s ability to attend emergencies, assist with community desexing and assist the Inspectorate team with welfare concerns.

In-kind donations
If you would like to donate animal foods and pet equipment, they are gratefully received at our Centres during opening hours. Large furniture and electrical goods can be accepted during open hours only by prior arrangement.
Clean saleable goods (no electrical goods) for our Op Shops an be dropped to our shops during opening hours.
