Making a difference in the Central Hawkes Bay
Volunteer with usWe are excited to offer SPCA services in Central Hawke's Bay in conjunction with Veterinary Services Hawke's Bay.
SPCA’s full range of services is available to animals in Central Hawke's Bay through a partnership with Vet Services Waipukurau, which started in mid-2022.
Animals will be transported to the nearby SPCA Hastings Centre when required, and there is a full-time Community Support Officer and/or Inspectorate Support Officer dedicated to helping within this community. This role enhances SPCA’s ability to attend emergencies, assist with community desexing and assist the Inspectorate team with welfare concerns.

If you have found a sick or injured animal, contact us immediately on 06 878 8733.
If you have found a roaming or dangerous dog, please call the Central Hawke's Bay District Council on 06 857 8060.
