Ayla

Ayla

Ayla is very special to many SPCA staff members

She arrived as a 3-month-old puppy with a severe fracture to her front leg and needed urgent surgery. Despite SPCA’s best efforts to save her leg, the damage was too severe, and vet team had no choice but to amputate. Ayla was already used to only using three legs for most of her life so she recovered from surgery incredibly well. Now she has a forever family who loves her! “She has a lovely, gentle nature and is already winning the hearts of people she is meeting,” says Ayla’s new mum. “It is lovely to see her enjoying life as a puppy and watch her experience the world. Ayla is a fan of sunbathing and has a weakness for a good tummy scratch.”
