Teddy

Teddy

Teddy’s story starts with him on the side of the road, alone and in pain. He was just a puppy and had fractured legs, and dislocated hips. We’re not quite sure what happened to him, but what we are sure of is how terrified he must have been.

Once he was in our care, the vet team took X-rays of Teddy.

They found that along with his broken bones, he had gravel in his stomach – suggesting that poor Teddy had been hit by a car and left for dead. The vet team got to work, doing everything they could do help Teddy, and he pulled through.

After he was patched up in surgery, Teddy was sent to a loving foster family to recover. He had regular hydrotherapy sessions with the wonderful team at Aqua Hounds and week by week he began to heal. His foster family fell in love and decided to adopt him.

Now, Teddy’s life is filled with all the walks and cuddles he could ever hope for. Running along the beach with a big grin on his face, he is unrecognisable from the wounded puppy abandoned on the side of the road. Teddy will never be alone again.
