SPCA's adoptable animals to be showcased at major influencer event

This international gathering brings together content creators and influencers with audiences ranging from 30,000 to five million followers each.

On Wednesday 28 May representatives from platforms, leading creators, marketers, and social media managers will meet at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland for a social media creator experience unlike anything seen in Australasia.

As part of its mission to find loving homes for animals, SPCA will highlight adoptable pets, especially long-stay residents, by featuring them on the back of 310 influencer lanyards, ensuring they receive exceptional exposure. The influencers and content creators will participate in a 20-minute challenge to create content to help their SPCA animal find a forever home on their social media platforms.

SPCA will also host a booth at the event to engage attendees in discussions about animal adoption, showcase its work, and collect donations for the Fill the Bucket campaign.

SPCA’s General Manager of Animal Services, Corey Regnerus-Kell, says SPCA is excited to be part of the opportunity:
