Canine volunteer – puppies
Volunteers must be confident around puppies and small dogs. Work includes cleaning the puppy bed pens and the puppy exercise yards, feeding the puppies and setting up beds, toys and play areas.

- Minimum age: 16 years.
- Personal time commitment: You must be able to commit to a regular shift for a period of at least six months.
- Training: you will be required to attend training sessions for your specific area, in addition to receiving training while on-the-job during your shift.
Current shifts available include:
Monday – 12pm – 3pm
Tuesday 12pm – 3pm
Wednesday – 3pm – 5pm
Thursday – 12pm – 3pm
Sunday – 8am – 12pm

Please note: All of our centres have minimum age requirements for volunteer jobs. If you are under 16 years of age, please enquire directly with your local centre about volunteer opportunities. You may be need to provide an up-to-date Ministry of Justice check prior to starting.
