Making a difference in WhangareiVolunteer with us
The SPCA inspectorate based in Whangerei covers an area from the Brynderwyns across to the Kaipara Harbour, up through Dargaville to just south of Kaikohe, to Waiomio south of Kawakawa, then back across to the east coast (to just north of Whangaruru North).
Around 3,000 animals are brought to our centre annually, and each year we investigate around 900 animal abuse complaints.
If you have found a sick or injured animal, contact us immediately on 09 438 9161.
If you have found a roaming or dangerous dog, please call the Whangarei District Council on 09 430 4200.
