395 Ngati Maru Highway, Thames 3578
PO Box 15349, New Lynn, Auckland 0640 (National Support Office). Please note this Centre does not have a physical letterbox on site.
SPCA's Thames Centre has been helping animals in the local community for 50 plus years. We have a fabulous facility in Thames and our area covers the Coromandel Peninsula and Hauraki Plains.
We look after more than 400 animals per year and are well supported by a dedicated volunteer network who care for the animals at the Centre and also foster animals when needed.
If you have found a sick or injured animal, contact us immediately on 07 868 6830 and use the welfare option.
Welfare calls are for cruelty, neglect or abuse of animals. Call centre hours for welfare are 8:30am-5pm, 7 days a week. If an animal is in life-threatening, immediate danger due to cruelty or abuse outside of hours, please dial 111 and request Police assistance.
If you have found a roaming or dangerous dog, please call the Thames-Coromandel District Council on 07 868 0200.
