                Animal Care Assistant - Cats
                            
        
                
            We are looking for volunteers to help with the daily work of caring for our cats and kittens.
You will be involved a range of duties such as:
- Cleaning animal runs
- Feeding animals per feeding directions
- Refiling litter trays
- Daily animal count
- Identifying animals displaying signs of illness
- Recording signs of illness in area diary
- Follow Health and Safety requirements
Available times
- Sundays,
	9am - 11am 
Qualifications and Education Requirements
No formal qualification required but you will need to be at least 16 years of age. Previous animal experience desirable.
Preferred skills
Successful candidate must be able to follow instructions and all Health and Safety requirements. They should be enthusiastic, hardworking, be able to work well in a team and have a genuine love of animals.

A few things to note:
- You must be at least 15 to volunteer in our Op Shops.
- You must be at least 16 to volunteer at our Centres. If you are younger, please check out our sections on 'Volunteering for Kids', 'Volunteering from Home' or talk to your family about fostering opportunities.
- You may need to provide an up to date Ministry of Justice check during this process, and we'll ask about any medical conditions so we can ensure your safety while volunteering.
