Administration volunteer
If you would like to help the animals but don’t want to play a hand-on role, becoming an administration volunteer might be for you.
We are looking for people who can help us out with basic administration support, calling supporters to update address details, printing, stuffing envelopes for mailouts.
We also sometimes need help with odd tasks such as cleaning donation boxes - basically anything that our staff sometimes just don’t find the time to do.

Thanks for your interest in volunteering with SPCA. Volunteers are a huge part of our team - we couldn’t do what we do without you!
To get started, just fill out the form below. If you need help, please call the team at your local SPCA Centre or op shop.
A few things to note:
- You must be at least 15 to volunteer in our Op Shops or 16 to volunteer at our Centres. If you are younger, please check out our sections on 'Volunteering for Kids', 'Volunteering from Home' or talk to your family about fostering opportunities.
- You may need to provide an up to date Ministry of Justice check during this process, and we'll ask about any medical conditions so we can ensure your safety while volunteering.
- Information collected as part of this application process may also be used for placement screening, administration, health, safety and wellbeing purposes, to communicate with you about your role, and to promote SPCA goods and services that may interest you. Information collected by SPCA will be treated in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the SPCA Privacy Statement.
