Whanganui Centre
Making a difference in Whanganui
Volunteer with usSPCA's Whanganui Centre covers a large area including Whanganui City, Bulls, Marton, Hunterville and the Ruapehu region.
Our purpose-built facilities include social cat rooms with outdoor enclosures, housing our many vulnerable cats that have needed our assistance and are now looking for new homes. We also have dogs and puppies available for adoption and a variety of other animals throughout the year.
Our team includes three staff and over 30 valued volunteers and fosterers. Our local supporters group organise community events throughout the year, including our Op Shop Fashion Parade, Centre Open Day and Annual Appeal.
