SPCA's Tauranga Centre is one of our busiest centres, with just over 2,000 animals coming through our doors every year. We pride ourselves in best practice operations striving to ensure positive outcomes for the animals that come into our care.
The support from our community is very strong and our Op Shop supports the work we do, with all profits helping the animals we care for.
If you have found a sick or injured animal, contact us immediately on 07 578 0245.
Welfare calls are for cruelty, neglect or abuse of animals. Call centre hours for welfare are 8:30am-5pm, 7 days a week. If an animal is in life-threatening, immediate danger due to cruelty or abuse outside of hours, please dial 111 and request Police assistance.
If you have found a roaming or dangerous dog, please call the Tauranga City Council on 07 577 7000.
