Making a difference in Palmerston North

Volunteer with us

SPCA's Palmerston North Centre has had a well needed make-over recently to enhance the facilities for the animals in our care. We have created an open cattery to provide a low-stress environment for our cats while they are here and have also upgraded our dog facilities. We now have large exercise runs where our dogs are free to run around and play during the day.

We rehome hundreds of animals each year so encourage people to come to see us if they are choosing to welcome a new animal into their family.

We stock everything you need including food, toys, bowls and more at our centre pet store.

We have a full team of Veterinary Nurses to help with any questions you have about caring for your animals.
