Masterton Centre
Making a difference in the Wairarapa
Volunteer with usUnder New Zealand’s traffic light system, our Centre is open to the public by appointment, in both red and orange. Please note: Members of the public do not require a vaccine pass for entry to an SPCA Centre. From Tuesday 5 April, in line with the latest Government decision and advice, SPCA has lifted its temporary mandate and vaccine pass requirements.
If you are interested in adopting, fostering or volunteering, please contact us via the website or by phoning us to make an appointment, our team will be able to discuss next steps. In line with Government regulations, physical distancing, face coverings, and contact-tracing measures are required and must be adhered to when appointments take place.
Our Inspectorate teams are an essential service, continuing their work in the community and responding to call-outs, while upholding strict health and safety measures. For any animal welfare concerns or general queries, please contact our Centre for support.
The Masterton Centre is open to the public seven days a week and is a core part of SPCA's presence in the wider Masterton, Carterton, South Wairarapa and Tararua Districts providing Animal Welfare services to the animals in need.
