Volunteer with usUnder the new L2 alert level, we are closed to the general public, but adoptions are continuing to be processed by appointment. As always, you can browse animals available for adoption on our website (just hit the ‘adopt’ button above and apply to adopt them online, or give your local Centre a call to book an appointment. If levels change in the coming days, we will provide further updates.
The Masterton Centre is open to the public seven days a week and is a core part of SPCA's presence in the wider Masterton, Carterton, South Wairarapa and Tararua Districts providing Animal Welfare services to the animals in need.

If you have an animal welfare complaint, please call our team on 06 377 1912. Our team will be on call during our centre opening hours – please see above.If you have an animal emergency outside of these hours, please contact your nearest after-hours vet clinic. For any problems with stray, found or lost dogs, please contact the local council. Please contact the local police for any instances where an animal or person/s welfare is at immediate risk.
