Invercargill Centre
Making a difference in Southland
Volunteer with usSPCA's Invercargill Centre has large grounds and a purpose-built facility, which was built in 2014 and designed to provide optimal care for animals.
Our team of highly qualified vet nurses and animal attendants are here to ensure all animals receive the best of care, even without having a veterinarian on-site. We are very fortunate to be well supported by a team of around 70 volunteers, who we are most thankful for their commitment and service. Together, these volunteers and our animal attendants care for around 1,000 animals each year.
Our three Op-Shops are conveniently located in the heart of town on Tay Street and Spey Street as well as in the Glengarry Shopping centre to accommodate customers from the outskirts of Invercargill. Stop in for a visit to meet our lovely team of staff and volunteers!
