Making a difference in the Waikato
Volunteer with usUnder the new L2 alert level, we are closed to the general public, but adoptions are continuing to be processed by appointment. As always, you can browse animals available for adoption on our website (just hit the ‘adopt’ button above and apply to adopt them online, or give your local Centre a call to book an appointment. If levels change in the coming days, we will provide further updates.
SPCA's Hamilton Centre (formerly Waikato SPCA) is located in Te Rapa , owned by the very supportive Waikato Animal Welfare Foundation.
We assist with sick or injured stray animals and our 3 animal welfare Inspectors attend possible breaches of the Animal Welfare Act.
