Volunteer with usOur lovely, spacious centre in Greymouth was opened in 2013 and was built with massive support from the community.
We offer a Canine Education programme for special needs children which is fully supported by the Cobden and Greymouth High Schools.
We also have a boarding cattery with eleven single and four double units. Find out more about our cattery

If you have a welfare complaint about a companion animal, please call our team on 03 768 5223. Our team will be on call during our centre opening hours – please see above. If you have an animal emergency outside of these hours, please contact your nearest after-hours vet clinic.
If your animal welfare complaint is regarding livestock or paddock animals, these will be handled by the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) from Monday 20 February. Please call them directly on 0800 00 83 33. Read more about this new model for handling complaints here.
For any problems with stray, found or lost dogs, please contact the local council. Please contact the local police for any instances where an animal or person/s welfare is at immediate risk.
