Welfare calls are for cruelty, neglect or abuse of animals. Call centre hours for welfare are 8:30am-5pm, 7 days a week. If an animal is in life-threatening, immediate danger due to cruelty or abuse outside of hours, please dial 111 and request Police assistance.
If you have found a roaming or dangerous dog, please call the Gisborne District Council on 06 867 2049 or 0800 653 800.
