Ned
"When my other rescue cat, Tina, was showing stress from spending days alone in the house, I opted to see if I could find a kitten who could keep her company.
My eyes were drawn to Ned when I first entered the kitten room. He was sitting regally on the top of a cat tree looking like nothing in the world could bother him. I pointed at him and said "He's a pretty calm cat" and the SPCA volunteer chuckled "That's Ned, he's pretty chill."
Despite being shown a number of kittens, I kept coming back to Ned, who would purr loudly at the merest touch, and was unfazed by my presence.
Ned has grown into a real explorer, and lover of snuggles. He loves to have his belly rubbed, and just wants to play. He's shy around new people, but is always keen to meet new cats.
When it's raining outside, Ned will come find me and ask to be rubbed dry and given cuddles before going to sleep in front of the heater.
He's a beautiful and happy boy living in a home that loves him."
