Happy adoption stories
Many of our adopters, volunteers, donors and friends send us stories and photos of the animals who give them so much joy. We dedicate this space to all of you whose lives have been changed by animals.

Chandler
Chandler was a bit of a "do we or don't we," but ultimately when we met her, it was immediately obvious she was perfect fitting for our family. Her little personality is blooming so big, very fast! For her size compared to her other adopted brother from Ashburton (Merlin) she is a teeny tiny baby, however that hasn't stopped the two bonding (after a 2 day sulk under the bed from Merlin who is a bit of an attention hog). The two are quite a pair; tabbies definitely have their own personality and vibe off eachother!
Our old lady Tilly has zero time for their shenanigans, but she's always been a grump personality-wise, and approaching 12 years old she is happy in her sun spot napping instead of playing with the two younger ones. But when the catnip was brought out, she did get amongst the play for about 10 seconds before she told Chandler and Merlin off and went to sleep!
Overall, miss Chandler (Chandley, Bing Bing) is settling in super well, maybe a little too well like she's been here forever.
Thanks team, another successful and amazing adoption.
