Happy adoption stories
Many of our adopters, volunteers, donors and friends send us stories and photos of the animals who give them so much joy. We dedicate this space to all of you whose lives have been changed by animals.

Nala
This is Nala and we adopted her when she was 7 months old. She was a very timid kitty and we were advised it would take a while for her to come out of her shell and adapt to her new life.
Well, she proved us all wrong!
After a couple of days she showered me with cuddles and after a week she was also cuddly towards other family members. Within the 5 weeks that we have had her, she has gone from strength to strength and has so much confidence!
She is such a snuggler and will squawk for attention when she wants it! She also loves to play with her ball/toys and has confidently adapted to the outside world through her new microchip cat door, coming and going as she pleases. She is spoilt rotten and adored by our family, who just get so many laughs over her little quirky character. She loves to dig holes outside, watch birds and just explore. She will also walk right beside you up the hallways like a little puppy and will flop down in front of you, demanding a pat. She truly is a character and we are very lucky to have her in our home.
Thank you SPCA!
