SPCA launches its next lottery to raise funds for animals in need

Following the success of SPCA’s first lottery which launched in April, we’re back with another chance for supporters to win some incredible prizes – all while supporting sick, injured and vulnerable animals.

“Our SPCA Lottery is back, and even bigger this time around,” says Elinor Birch, SPCA Events and Partnerships Manager. “Our first-ever lottery did really well, with tickets selling out so fast. It was wonderful to be able to ring our four lucky winners back in June and tell they’d won – they were very exciting phone calls!

“We knew that we should run another one, and try to make them a regular fundraising activity.”

Tickets are just $25 each. This second lottery has a total prize pool of $89,790, with amazing prizes up for grabs thanks to our generous prize partners:

• First prize: A 2026 Nissan X-Trail Ti-L e-POWER – RRP $64,990.
• Second prize: A Wendy Wu Tours Thailand Highlights tour for any 2027 departure, or another Wendy Wu tour of the winner’s choice to the value of $14,800.
• Third prize: A $5,000 Harvey Norman e-gift card.

There is also an early bird prize draw – if you purchase a ticket by Tuesday 20 October, you’ll be in to win a $5,000 Giftiee digital Visa card powered by iGo.

“We’ve kept it to just 15,000 tickets, as this makes for great odds for those participating,” says Elinor. “The Lottery is a feel-good way to make a difference for the animals, while getting the chance to win prizes at the same time.”

SPCA helps over 55,000 animals every year, both in animal Centres and out in the community. Buying a lottery ticket helps SPCA educate communities, rescue animals, provide rehabilitation and veterinary care, rehome animals and bring animal offenders to justice.

Tickets are available online with the lottery closing on Tuesday 24 November. Winners will be announced on Friday 27 November.

“If you’re planning on buying a ticket, you might as well grab it before midnight on 20 October so that you get an extra chance to win another great prize with the Early Bird draw,” says Elinor.
