Join Team SPCA for The WAI Running Festival on 10 December 2022 and make your marathon count by raising funds for injured, abused, neglected and abandoned animals across Aotearoa alongside animal-lovers like you!
Everyone that raises $250 or more will score themselves a Team SPCA running tee to wear on the day.
Every year over 35,000 abused, neglected and abandoned animals come through SPCA's doors all across Aotearoa. Our team investigates cases of animal cruelty, educates and engages in the community, and rescues and rehabilitates animals with the love and care they deserve until they find their forever homes. By joining Team SPCA, we you’ll help us can make a difference to the lives of thousands of animals.
The WAI run fest is all about venturing outdoors to explore the beautiful trails of the Greater Wellington region. For 2022 the event has on offer mixed categories for any fitness level including the WAI2K event which is for the more advanced trail runners, to the 12km scenic flight which takes in the trails around Tunnel Gully in Upper Hutt. We even have a Mountain bike/trail run dual for 2022!
