SPCA Community Pet Pantry
When you donate pet food to our Community Pet Food Pantry at your local supermarket or SPCA Centre, you're helping struggling pet owners across New Zealand keep their beloved animals fed and their families together.
At SPCA we are very lucky to have Purina provide us with nutritious food for cats and dogs in our care. This is extremely valuable and means we never have to worry about the thousands of animals who come through our doors going hungry.
However, not everyone in New Zealand is as lucky. That's why we have partnered with supermarkets and placed SPCA Community Pet Pantries in supermarkets across the country - so that you can help pets and families in need, right in your own community.
Your donations go directly to our SPCA Inspectors and Centres, who deliver support to struggling pet owners and help keep beloved animals in the loving homes where they belong.
As well as pet food, our pantries also accept worm and flea treatments, and other small essential pet care items such as cat litter, collars and leads. These donations can make a huge difference to families who are doing their best to care for their animals but may be finding it difficult to afford the basics.
Every pet deserves to go to sleep with a full belly, free from parasites, and well cared for. Next time you're doing your shop, add an extra item to your trolley and find your nearest donation point on the map below.
Please note: Please drop larger items such as bedding and kennels straight to our centres.
