Gore Vet Partnership
Making a difference in SouthlandVolunteer with us
We are excited to offer SPCA services in Gore in conjunction with VetSouth.
This Vet partnership means animals in Gore can receive SPCA services such as microchipping and desexing, and VetSouth in Gore is also able to take in any animals and transfer them to Invercargill for rehoming, or for further medical care if required. This way, the animals can receive the best care
Please also take a look at the animals for adoption at our Invercargill and Dunedin centres.
All cruelty reports should be made by phone: 03 208 5111
If you have an animal welfare complaint, please call the 03 208 5111 or 022 471 4997 if calling between 10am - 4:30pm, Monday - Saturday. If you have an animal emergency outside of these hours, please contact your nearest after-hours vet clinic. For any problems with stray, found or lost dogs, please contact the local council. Please contact the local police for any instances where an animal or person/s welfare is at immediate risk.
Do not email or Facebook us to report emergencies.
