Scarlett
"After meeting many cats that weren't quite the one, an hour drive to Ashburton ended up worth all of it for Scarlett. She settled in so quickly. Not even two weeks and I'd let her outside - which ended up being a nap on the deck and then back inside because it was too noisy. She is simultaneously the most annoying and loveliest cat I know. And I genuinely think it's because she's taken on my own personality. She has such strange quirks - knocking over everything on the bookshelf if you refuse to give her an eye, licking the empty food bowl (for the last bits of seasoning I guess) and eating my flatmate's cooked plain pasta. She's still not overly fond of new people and I don't blame her - neither am I, but she knows my flatmates and will sit with us until the day ends. She's just a good cat. And photogenic at that too! It's nice to have a little pal after 4 years of being away from my childhood cat, Scarlett is the best! I love her."
