Happy adoption stories
Many of our adopters, volunteers, donors and friends send us stories and photos of the animals who give them so much joy. We dedicate this space to all of you whose lives have been changed by animals.

Kirby and Nick
We foster failed Kirby (black and white) as we were looking for a friend for Nick (our first SPCA rescue). They couldn't wait to meet each other after spending some time alone first to get used to their scents. When they were finally allowed to interact freely, they immediately started playing, which now often turns into a licking session from Nick who seems to have taken Kirby under his wing. Kirby seems to admire Nick and tries to get close to him when napping. I just melt when I see them napping together!
