Happy adoption stories
Many of our adopters, volunteers, donors and friends send us stories and photos of the animals who give them so much joy. We dedicate this space to all of you whose lives have been changed by animals.
Drusilla
We adopted Drusilla a few months after losing our elderly cat Buffy. We went to visit the Masterton centre and the staff were absolutely amazing, giving us time to meet the cats, and giving us all the info we needed. After meeting some cats we found Drusilla sitting in a bed inside of a wooden box, my partner was giving her pats and she was letting her hold her paw – we knew she was perfect. We're so happy that we adopted her. She has becomes a member of our family and a younger sister to our Greyhound Spud!
