Miraculously, there was still life in her emaciated form… but barely.

We were able to immediately remove her from the environment she’d been forced to live in, but this rescue was just the start of what will be a very long journey to recovery. What follows for animals who have suffered such extreme neglect is often months of care, both medical and behavioural.
