Auckland - Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board Area Snip ‘n’ Chip
-
SPCA has joined with Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board to launch a Snip ‘n’ Chip campaign, offering discounted desexing and microchipping to cat owners in living in the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki local board area.
From 1 June 2022, the Snip ‘n’ Chip campaign will allow residents who live in the following postcodes to desex and microchip their cat for free:
1051, 1060, 1061, 1062, 1072
Bookings are now OPEN. Head over to book.spcadesexing.nz to check if you’re eligible and register for your Snip ‘n’ Chip voucher.
Desexing is one of the key ways to improve animal welfare in New Zealand and an important part of responsible animal ownership. By desexing and microchipping your cat, you can help them lead a happier and healthier life, break the cycle of unwanted litters in our communities, and help protect our native wildlife and threatened species.
Please note there is a limit of 10 vouchers per registration and vouchers are only available through the Snip ‘n’ Chip website. If you know someone who is not able to access the internet, or needs help with the online system, you can register on their behalf. Alternatively, please contact your SPCA Centre in Auckland and they will be able to assist.
Thank you to Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board and our participating vet clinics for making this campaign possible.
If you don’t live in one of those postcodes, keep an eye on Facebook or our website for more Auckland campaigns.
