How you can make a difference
We're always looking for dedicated people to help out in our op shops.
Volunteering includes retail roles helping with sorting, pricing, merchandising and selling at the till. We're also seeking reliable drivers for routine furniture pick-ups and drop-offs, as well as electricians and skilled individuals for expertise in electrical testing, repairs, maintenance and furniture reconditioning.
If you're over 15, have some spare time and want to support a great cause – we’d love to hear from you!
You can help us raise much needed funds for the animals by donating items we can re-sell.
We are incredibility grateful for all donations in good, sellable condition; please no rips, stains, marks, broken or missing pieces. Let your old items become someone's new favourite, simply head to your local shop during opening hours.
Furniture items can be picked up for free within Auckland 0800 77 22 23 or Christchurch 0800 77 22 26, find out more here.
Each purchase you make is an important contribution to SPCA’s work.
