Be a superhero for animals and Jump to the Rescue!
This June, animal lovers will be able to tick off a bucket list item as well as be a superhero for New Zealand’s animals.
SPCA is holding its annual Jump to the Rescue event, where SPCA supporters can experience the thrill of a 13,000 ft. tandem skydive while raising vital funds for abused, unwanted, and unloved animals.
Participants have six weeks to raise as much money as they can for the 41,000 animals SPCA help each year.
Every jumper who raises over $880 gets to jump for free, freefalling for 45 seconds at speeds of up to 200kph before your parachute opens and you can enjoy the breathtaking views while you float gracefully back to earth.
This year, fundraisers can jump at four sites across New Zealand, including Auckland, Christchurch, Taupo, and Queenstown.
Jump day is Saturday 15th June, but in case of bad weather, fundraisers will be able to jump throughout the month of June.
Cut off for fundraising ends on June 10 – so make sure you’ve smashed your target to receive your free skydive with SPCA. Early bird registrations are $35 until May 17, and will be $50 thereafter.
