Celebrate our love for animals, great and small. Bring your pets for a blessing or simply enjoy this special service.

This is a joyous, non-denominational event where families and their beloved pets gather to celebrate and give thanks for our companion animals and recognise the life of St. Francis of Assisi, their patron Saint. It also marks World Animal Day, celebrated on 4th October 2018.

All pets welcome. Dogs, horses and donkeys on leads, cats in carriers, birds/mice and other small critters in cages.

This event is free and open to all ages.

Please note: There will be a lot of animals, people and noise at this blessing. If your animal is not comfortable in this type of situation you may decide it is best to leave them at home. Instead, please bring a photo of your pet to have blessed.
