Do you have a passion for animals and a desire to make a meaningful difference? Are you ready to be part of a vibrant team that organises inspiring events? Join us at SPCA!
We are looking for people who can kindly commit to one or more days a week. Both half days and full days are available Monday-Friday.
By joining our team as Events Admin Volunteer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the success of fundraising events like Treat Week and Pets of the Year. Your warm and friendly personality will help build strong connections with our amazing fundraisers, ensuring they have an unforgettable experience.
As a valued volunteer in our Digital Fundraising & Events team, you'll be at the forefront of providing excellent customer service, accurate data entry, and assisting with various event-related tasks. We value your communication skills and your ability to connect with fundraisers, and if you already have experience working with customers over the phone or using a CRM system, that's even better! Your computer skills will also be put to good use as you navigate our systems, paying meticulous attention to detail and ensuring accurate data entry.

Your work in the Digital Fundraising & Events Team directly contributes to SPCA’s income, which helps feed, treat and care for the animals of New Zealand whilst they transition to their new forever homes. Thank you for your interest in volunteering for SPCA. Volunteers are a vital part of the SPCA team and we simply couldn't do the work we do without the large number of volunteers who donate their time to help the animals.
Please fill out the form below to start your volunteer journey with us. If you need assistance, please call the team at your local SPCA Centre or op shop.
Please note: Our centres and op shops have minimum age requirements to volunteer. For op shops the minimum age is 15 years. For volunteering at a centre, please enquire with them directly if you are under 16 years of age. You may need to provide an up-to-date Ministry of Justice check prior to starting. Please be aware that during the application process we will ask about any medical conditions (physical or mental) we need to be aware of to ensure your safety while volunteering for us.
