Feline and Small Animals Volunteer
Christchurch Centre
We are looking for volunteers to help with the daily work of caring for our cats and small animals. Volunteers must be aged 16 or over to work in this area.
Work includes cleaning the runs and cages, feeding and general stocking up around the centre.
In this area you will also look after our rabbits, guinea pigs, mice and rats which includes feeding and cleaning out the hutches.
Minimum age: 16 years.
Personal time commitment: one shift once a week or one shift every second weekend for a minimum of 6 months.
Training: you will be required to attend training sessions for your specific area, in addition to receiving training while on-the-job during your shift.
Please note that there will be an induction evening to attend once you have submitted your application form, prior to being accepted in to our programme.
