Community Cats Programme volunteer
Do you love cats? Could you spare a few hours a week to help the stray cats of South Auckland?
We are currently looking for committed volunteers for our Community Cats Programme. This programme aims to help the stray cats of South Auckland and the local community!
You must be confident with cats, have excellent people and communication skills and be reasonably fit as you will be required to carry out manual handling tasks. You need your own car, a clean and valid driver's license, access to a computer and email and need to be 18 years or older.
This roles tasks include:
- Engaging with the public and educating the community about responsible cat ownership
- Transporting cats
- Interacting with a local vet clinic
- Record keeping.
We need volunteers who can help with the following shifts:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 8am to 10am
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - 3pm to 4.30pm
