Save newborn kittens
Newborn kittens need you right now
At birth, kittens are barely bigger than a human thumb.
Eyes closed and ears pressed down, they are completely blind and deaf, and entirely powerless to fend for themselves.
When they’re this small, though they open their mouths to mew often, their lungs are so tiny that any squeaks they do make are barely audible.
At newborn stage, kittens are extremely vulnerable. They are entirely dependent on their mothers, yet too often, they are taken away from them when they need them the most… in those first few weeks of life.
For the lucky ones, they are saved before it’s too late. But even once they’re in SPCA's care, their battle has only just begun.
Newborn kittens or ‘bottle babies’ require round-the-clock care. They need bottle feeding every two hours and help toileting. They need washing, helping keeping warm and dry, and have to be monitored all the time.
Looking after such utterly dependable kittens is a hard job… a big job, despite their tiny size. And it comes at a cost.
The special kitten formula for feeding, time, medication and care poured into every kitten adds up. It is worth every penny spent to save these lives.
No kitten should miss their chance at life just because it costs too much.
They deserve a fighting chance... will you give it to them? For these kittens, your donation is truly life-saving.
