You can help Piglet heal
Piglet is only 3 months old but has already endured so much. Can you help her get her life back?
Poor Piglet has endured so much.
At just three months old, Piglet was covered in one of the worst cases of mange we have ever seen.
Piglet’s skin was red, raw and weeping. Mange is a debilitating skin disease caused by parasitic mites. Left untreated like this, it is horrific and extremely painful.
Found wandering the streets alone, the disease had ravaged Piglet's skin, and she was in unimaginable pain and discomfort.
Piglet is so young, but already she has suffered more than any dog should ever have to.
We don’t know how she came to be without her mother or any humans to look out for her. Piglet is now under the care of our vet team and needs lengthy treatment to help her recover.
We’ve put Piglet on an extensive treatment plan, which includes pain relief and specialist medication to soothe and treat her infected skin.
But Piglet's road to recovery will be a long one. The treatment and medication she requires will be expensive, and she will need intensive care along the way.
Will you help give Piglet the care she needs?
