Queenstown Vet Partnership

Making a difference in Central Otago

Volunteer with us

We are excited to offer SPCA services in Queenstown in conjunction with Remarkable Vets.

We opened our doors in July 2020 and look after sick, injured and vulnerable animals in the Wakatipu Basin.

We will also have animals available for adoption. Please contact either Sam or Remarkable Vets to talk about the adoption process (details below).

Please also take a look at the animals for adoption at our other vet partnerships in Central Otago.

All cruelty reports should be made by phone: 03 777 4159

If you have an animal welfare complaint about a companion animal, please call our team on 03 777 4159. If you have an animal emergency outside of business hours, please contact your nearest after-hours vet clinic.

If your animal welfare complaint is regarding livestock or paddock animals, these will be handled by the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) from 1 April. Please call them directly on 0800 00 83 33. Read more about this new model for handling complaints here.

For any problems with stray, found or lost dogs, please contact the local council. Please contact the local police for any instances where an animal or person/s welfare is at immediate risk.

Do not email or Facebook us to report emergencies.
