From June 2019 SPCA’s Hawera Centre will no longer be open for adoptions.
For animal welfare concerns in the area, please contact 0800 INSPECTOR.
For adoptions, please consider adopting an animal in need from one of our neighbouring SPCA Centres.
If you need urgent assistance for an injured animal currently in your possession, please call us on 0800 INSPECTOR (467 732).
Animals in our Hawera Centre are cared for by one full-time staff member and a small team of great volunteers. Warranted Animal Welfare Inspectors are based at the nearby New Plymouth Centre.
