Happy adoption stories
Many of our adopters, volunteers, donors and friends send us stories and photos of the animals who give them so much joy. We dedicate this space to all of you whose lives have been changed by animals.
It was a long, long process, something close to six months before they really feel in love, but they are inseparable now.
We have come to realise that Puddles is also deaf, a suspicion I’ve always had but was made clear with how responsive to sound Noodle (the white and black bunny you helped us pick out) is. That explains why Puds would get so upset when little lady nipped his butt!
Noodle is an amazing little bunny. Her wonky leg does not stop her in any way. Her favorite things include stealing the lemons out of my gin and tonics, chasing the cats and knocking over christmas trees. She has also been a good influence on Puds, he will now run up the stairs (a very funny sight, he is not a natural athlete!) with Noodle, and has even explored the part of the house that isn’t carpeted.
Once again, thank you for taking time to educate my partner and I about bonding, and helping us choose the right lady for our deaf little pirate buns.
